Consumer Protection Service

File a Complaint - Third countries

Unfortunately, the Consumer Protection Service cannot interact in the event of disputes between consumers and traders based in third countries.

As a first step, our Service recommends consumers to seek to communicate directly with the foreign supplier, to settle the issue.

It is also recommended that you refer to:
Third countries’ embassies in Cyprus
Contact the Embassy in Cyprus of the relevant country, describing the problem and providing the details of the trader from whom you purchased your product/service.

In addition, you can contact:
Econsumer.gov
Econsumer.govEconsumer.gov is a partnership of 34 consumer protection agencies around the world, members of the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network (ICPEN), aiming to prevent international scams against consumers.
